  • What will my first visit be like?
    You will be evaluated by one of our licensed physical therapists where they will develop a plan of care and review treatment options with you for your return to activity.
  • What do I need to bring to my first visit?
    Insurance cards. Drivers license. Patient forms. (can be found on the website or emailed to you) Prescription.
  • Will I be seeing the same therapist throughout my treatment?
    You will be kept with the same therapist throughout your course of treatment in order to be provided with the best continuity of care.
  • Do I need a prescription from my doctor to be seen?
    The state of NJ allows for direct access, so no prescription is needed to start treatment. However, in order for insurance to cover the cost of care they may require a referral from a medical doctor. Please contact us for for information related to your individual insurance plan.
  • Is physical therapy painful?
    No. Physical therapy should not be a painful experience. Physical therapy should alleviate pain and allow you to return to you prior level of activity. It is important for you and your therapist to communicate each visit about how you are responding to care in order for you to receive maximal benefit.
